Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. Wesson oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (12 oz.) tomato paste
  • 1/2 lb. lasagne noodles
  • 1/2 lb. cottage cheese
  • 1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. rosemary
  • 1 1/2 c. hot water

Method

  • In hot Wesson oil in heavy pan, cook garlic and onion until soft.
  • Add beef and seasonings and cook until crumbly.
  • Mix in tomato paste and hot water.
  • Simmer 5 minutes.
  • In 9 x 13-inch baking dish, put a thin layer of sauce, half the noodles, all the cottage cheese and one half of the Mozzarella cheese.
  • Repeat with one half of remaining sauce, remaining noodles and Mozzarella cheese.
  • Complete with the rest of the sauce on top.
  • Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
