- 1 can minced clams per person plus 1 extra can
- 1 bottle clam juice
- 1/2 c. olive oil
- 5 or 6 cloves garlic
- 1 medium onion
- parsley
- oregano
- black pepper
- pinch of marjoram
- red pepper (optional)
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- grated cheese
- 1 lb. linguine
Method
- Brown onion and garlic.
- Add bottled clam juice and juice from the canned clams.
- Bring to a boil.
- Lower heat and simmer.
- Add oregano, parsley, peppers, marjoram, lemon juice and grated cheese.
- Simmer for 20 minutes.
- Throw clams in and simmer 15 minutes.
- Boil and cook linguine; top with sauce.
