Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • 1 whole Large Sweet Onion, Sliced
  • 2 whole Green Bell Peppers, Stem And Seeds Removed, Sliced
  • 4 Tablespoons Reduced Sodium Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Honey
  • 1/4 teaspoons Vinegar
  • 18 teaspoons Ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • 3 whole Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts, Sliced
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste
  • Sandwich Rolls
  • Mozzarella Cheese Slices

Method

  • Spray a medium-sized slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray and turn heat on to low.
  • Add butter, onions and green peppers.
  • Combine soy sauce, honey, vinegar, ginger, garlic powder salt, and pepper in a medium sized bowl then add chicken and toss to coat the chicken.
  • Add it into the slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook for 5 hours or until chicken has cooked.
  • Serve on rolls with cheese melted on top.
