Ingredients
- 6 chicken bouillon cubes
- 6 c. water
- 4 minced cloves garlic
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 diced carrots
- 6 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 1/4 c. rinsed dried lentils
- 1 c. white cooking wine
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Method
- Dissolve chicken bouillon cubes in water.
- Saute garlic, onion and carrots in olive oil in large soup pot.
- Add lentils, broth, wine and pepper.
- Simmer 1 1/2 hours.
- Serves 6.
