Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice flour
  • 1 ounce wheat starch tung min flour
  • 1/2 cup white radish grated, squeeze out the liquid from the radish before weighing
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 2 chopped garlic
  • 4 eggs beaten
  • 1/2 chilli paste
  • 5 tablespoons dark soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons light soy sauce
  • 1/2 radish salted, optional

Method

  • Mix in the rice flour ,wheat starch , grated white radish and water together.
  • Steam in rapid boiling water for 30mins.
  • Leave to cool.
  • Cut into small cubes.
  • In hot oil, put in the radish cake cube and stir fry .
  • Sprinkle in with some light sauce sauce and fry until slightly soften.Dish out.
  • Add a bit more oil and saute chopped garlic and salted radish.
  • Once fragrant, add in the saute radish cake and chilli paste.
  • Mix in both sauces as well.
  • Stir fry until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  • Final stage add in a bit more oil and pour in the beaten eggs until it covers the whole of the radish cake.
  • In between stir fry .
  • Add in more dark soy sauce and salt for taste if desired.
