Ingredients
- 2 chickens, cleaned, or parts
- 2 1/2 c. raw rice
- 2 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 5 c. water
- butter or oil
Method
- Chicken can be seasoned according to taste after washing. Sprinkle rice in pan.
- Add dry onion soup mix over rice.
- Place chicken parts on rice and onion mix.
- Spoon or spread mushroom soup over chicken.
- Pour 2 1/2 cups water around edges of pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
- After one hour, pour remaining 2 1/2 cups of water around edge of pan.
- Bake 1 hour more.
