Ingredients
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. oil
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 2 1/2 c. plain flour
Method
- Dissolve yeast, sugar and 1 tablespoon water.
- Beat sugar, oil and 1/2 cup warm water.
- Dissolve the ingredients together; stir in flour.
- Let rise 1 hour.
- Punch down, then roll out and cut into squares.
- Pat center with butter or oil, then fold over.
- Let rise again.
- Bake at 300° for 20 minutes.
