Ingredients

  • 1 c. corn oil margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 3/4 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon

Method

  • Mix the 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
  • Set aside.
  • Cream the margarine, 1 1/2 cups sugar and eggs in a large bowl.
  • Mix and stir in flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt. Chill dough.
  • Roll in balls, then in sugar and cinnamon mix.
  • Bake at 400° for 8 minutes.
  • Makes 3 dozen.
  • Cool on rack.
  • Freeze well.
