Ingredients

  • 3 to 5 lb. boneless chuck roast
  • 3 tsp. garlic powder
  • 3 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 can Campbell's beef broth
  • 1 can beer
  • 2 oz. bourbon
  • 3 Tbsp. minced onion
  • 4 to 8 oz. whole pepperoncini with juice

Method

  • Add more garlic powder, oregano and onion to flavor to your taste.
  • Place all ingredients in crock-pot.
  • Cook at least 6 hours.
  • Remove meat and flake with fork.
  • Put meat back into crock-pot and let simmer for another 10 to 20 minutes.
  • Serve on poor boy buns with Mozzarella cheese.
