- 3 to 5 lb. boneless chuck roast
- 3 tsp. garlic powder
- 3 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 can Campbell's beef broth
- 1 can beer
- 2 oz. bourbon
- 3 Tbsp. minced onion
- 4 to 8 oz. whole pepperoncini with juice
Method
- Add more garlic powder, oregano and onion to flavor to your taste.
- Place all ingredients in crock-pot.
- Cook at least 6 hours.
- Remove meat and flake with fork.
- Put meat back into crock-pot and let simmer for another 10 to 20 minutes.
- Serve on poor boy buns with Mozzarella cheese.
