Ingredients
- 2 cups Flour
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 1 whole Egg
- 1 Tablespoon Water
- 4 pieces Chicken Breasts (boneless, Skinless, Trimmed, Rinsed And Patted Dry)
- 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil And Canola Oil
Method
- In a shallow bowl combine the flour, salt and pepper.
- In a separate bowl whisk the egg with water.
- Begin heating the oil in a skillet at medium heat.
- Dip each chicken breast in the egg mixture and then in the flour mixture thoroughly coating each piece on each side.
- Place the chicken breasts in the hot oil and fry on each side until the flour coating has turned a crisp golden brown.
- This usually takes about 10-12 minutes on each side.
- Serve hot on your favorite type of bread/roll.
- Top with pickles and mayonnaise and you have created your very own Chicken-fil-A sandwich.
