Ingredients

  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons Black Pepper
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1 Tablespoon Water
  • 4 pieces Chicken Breasts (boneless, Skinless, Trimmed, Rinsed And Patted Dry)
  • 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil And Canola Oil

Method

  • In a shallow bowl combine the flour, salt and pepper.
  • In a separate bowl whisk the egg with water.
  • Begin heating the oil in a skillet at medium heat.
  • Dip each chicken breast in the egg mixture and then in the flour mixture thoroughly coating each piece on each side.
  • Place the chicken breasts in the hot oil and fry on each side until the flour coating has turned a crisp golden brown.
  • This usually takes about 10-12 minutes on each side.
  • Serve hot on your favorite type of bread/roll.
  • Top with pickles and mayonnaise and you have created your very own Chicken-fil-A sandwich.
