Ingredients
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 2 1/2 c. lukewarm water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 tsp. salt (level)
- 7 to 8 c. flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 c. soft shortening or oil
Method
- Dissolve yeast in water.
- In a large bowl, add sugar, salt and almost 1/2 flour.
- Beat.
- Add eggs and shortening.
- Beat.
- Add rest of the flour.
- Knead and put in a large greased bowl.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Roll out dough and cut out for rolls. Place in greased (oil or shortening) pans.
- Cook at 350°.
- Brush tops with butter or margarine when you take them out of the oven.
