Ingredients

  • 1 large pkg. Oreo cookies
  • 1/2 c. melted margarine
  • 1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can Hershey's chocolate syrup

Method

  • Crumble cookies into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Dribble melted margarine over cookies.
  • Cut ice cream into slices and arrange over cookie crust, pressing down to make a smooth layer.
  • Freeze. In double boiler or microwave, heat the margarine with the condensed milk and chocolate syrup until mixture is bubbly.
  • Cool thoroughly, then pour over ice cream and return pan to freezer until ready to serve.
