Ingredients
- 8 c. ground up cucumbers
- 1 large red or green pepper
- 2 small to medium onions
- 3 Tbsp. salt
- 2 c. vinegar
- 1 tsp. turmeric
- 3 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. celery seed
Method
- Grind the first 4 ingredients together.
- Drain 1 hour or longer.
- Combine the vinegar, turmeric, sugar and celery seed with the cucumber mixture.
- Cook until it turns color, then, while hot, put into pint canning jars and seal.
- Makes 4 pints.
