Ingredients
- 1 1/2 qt. boiling water
- 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 1/2 c. dark rum
- 6 tsp. butter or margarine
- 6 cinnamon sticks (optional)
Method
- In large bowl combine 1 1/2 cups water and the sugar; stir until sugar dissolves.
- Stir in the rum and remaining water.
- Pour into 6 heatproof mugs.
- Add 1 teaspoon butter to each cup.
- Garnish with cinnamon stick.
- Serves 6.
