Ingredients

  • 3 lb. pork spareribs or pork loin back ribs
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder

Method

  • Cut spareribs into serving size pieces.
  • Place ribs, bone side down on a rack in a shallow roasting pan.
  • Cover and roast at 350° for 1 hour.
  • Drain.
  • Combine all the remaining ingredients in a bowl.
  • Brush some of glaze on ribs.
  • Roast, uncovered, 30 to 45 minutes longer until meat is tender.
  • Brush occasionally with remaining glaze.
  • Yields 4 servings.
