Ingredients
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 c. very warm water
- 1 1/2 sticks melted butter
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 4 c. self-rising flour
Method
- Place yeast in 2 cups warm water.
- Melt butter; cream with sugar in large bowl.
- Add beaten eggs; add dissolved yeast to mixture.
- Add flour and stir until well mixed.
- Place in airtight bowl and keep in refrigerator.
- Drop by spoonfuls in greased muffin tins.
- Bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Can keep in refrigerator for a few days.
- Use as needed.
