Ingredients

  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 1/2 c. oleo
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 2/3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. coconut
  • 3 c. oatmeal
  • 1 c. chocolate chips

Method

  • Cream first 4 ingredients.
  • Add eggs and vanilla.
  • Sift together flour, soda and salt.
  • Add to creamed mixture and mix thoroughly.
  • Stir in oats, coconut and chocolate chips.
  • Form into rolls on wax paper.
  • Freeze rolls before slicing.
  • Bake at 350° to 375° for 8 to 10 minutes.
