Ingredients

  • 5 c. quick oats
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/3 c. vegetable oil
  • 1/2 c. dry milk
  • 1/3 c. honey
  • 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 c. raisins

Method

  • Place 1/4 cup of mung beans in a quart jar and cover with tepid water.
  • Cover with cheesecloth and tie securely.
  • Soak overnight.
  • Drain water off.
  • Set in a warm, dark place.
  • Every day, rinse with tepid water and drain.
  • Place in a warm dark place again.
  • Repeat 4 to 5 days or until sprouts are as big as you want.
