Ingredients

  • 1 small chicken or 3 leg quarters or any kind of chicken you have in the house
  • 6 carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 6 stalks celery, sliced
  • 1 large onion, peeled and chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 (8 oz.) box uncooked pasta or more to taste
  • water
  • 3 Tbsp. parsley

Method

  • Put the chicken, carrots, celery, onion, garlic powder and parsley in a large pot.
  • Cover with water.
  • Bring to a rapid boil and then reduce heat to medium-high. Boil until the meat falls off the bones. Remove the bones and skin from the soup. Bring to a boil again.
  • Add pasta and cook for 10 minutes. Enjoy!
