Ingredients
- 1 small chicken or 3 leg quarters or any kind of chicken you have in the house
- 6 carrots, peeled and sliced
- 6 stalks celery, sliced
- 1 large onion, peeled and chopped
- 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 (8 oz.) box uncooked pasta or more to taste
- water
- 3 Tbsp. parsley
Method
- Put the chicken, carrots, celery, onion, garlic powder and parsley in a large pot.
- Cover with water.
- Bring to a rapid boil and then reduce heat to medium-high. Boil until the meat falls off the bones. Remove the bones and skin from the soup. Bring to a boil again.
- Add pasta and cook for 10 minutes. Enjoy!
