Ingredients
- 5 c. flour
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. honey
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. small curd cottage cheese
- 1/2 c. oats
- 2 Tbsp. fast rising yeast
- 3/4 c. water
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 c. whole wheat flour
- 1 c. pecans, chopped
Method
- Heat water, honey and butter until warm.
- Add cottage cheese. Then add to dry mix.
- Add eggs.
- Add nuts last.
- Let rise until double in size.
- Make out 2 large loaves.
- Let rise one time.
- Make loaves again and let rise a second time.
- Bake at 375° for 35 to 40 minutes.
