Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- 2 tsp. finely chopped orange peel
- 6 medium carrots, thinly sliced on the bias (3 c.)
- dash of salt and pepper
Method
- In medium saucepan, melt butter or margarine.
- Stir in brown sugar, honey, orange peel, salt and pepper.
- Add carrots and cook uncovered over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes or until carrots are just tender-crisp.
- Stir mixture occasionally.
- Makes 4 servings.
