Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger meat
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 c. bread crumbs
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire
  • 1 pkg. onion soup mix
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 c. juice from mushrooms and water
  • 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms

Method

  • Mix meat with egg, crumbs, seasoning and half of the onion soup mix.
  • Make patties and fry until brown on both sides.
  • Remove when brown.
  • Add the flour to frypan and stir until it browns lightly.
  • Put in remaining onion soup mix and mushrooms; cook 5 minutes.
  • Put meat back in gravy and cover.
  • Cook another 5 or 10 minutes.
  • Serves 4.
