Ingredients
- 1 lb. hamburger meat
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. bread crumbs
- dash of pepper
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire
- 1 pkg. onion soup mix
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 c. juice from mushrooms and water
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
Method
- Mix meat with egg, crumbs, seasoning and half of the onion soup mix.
- Make patties and fry until brown on both sides.
- Remove when brown.
- Add the flour to frypan and stir until it browns lightly.
- Put in remaining onion soup mix and mushrooms; cook 5 minutes.
- Put meat back in gravy and cover.
- Cook another 5 or 10 minutes.
- Serves 4.
