Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/3 c. light cream
- 1/3 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. nuts
Method
- Mix sugars, cream, milk and butter in saucepan.
- Boil to soft stage or 238°, stirring only if needed.
- Remove from heat.
- Cool to lukewarm (110°) without stirring.
- Add vanilla.
- Beat vigorously until fudge thickens and loses gloss.
- Add nuts. Spread in buttered 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
- Score; cut when firm.
