Ingredients
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1/3 c. milk
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 c. peaches
Method
- Put 1 stick margarine in 9 x 13-inch baking dish to melt.
- Mix 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour with 1/2 cup shortening and 1/3 cup milk.
- Roll out; put 2 cups of fruit on dough.
- Roll up like jelly roll and cut up.
- Put fruit and dough in melted margarine.
- Heat 2 cups sugar and 2 cups juice or water.
- Pour over dough.
- Bake at 400° for 45 to 50 minutes.
