Ingredients
- 2 lb. frozen hash browns
- 3/4 c. oil
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 (15 oz.) can Sloppy Joes
Method
- Cook potatoes in oil in skillet, but do not brown, adding the oil as it is needed.
- Lift out potatoes with a slotted spoon and arrange in buttered baking dish.
- Dot with butter and season with salt and pepper.
- Cook burger in same skillet; drain.
- Add the sauce to beef; mix thoroughly and heat.
- Pour meat mixture over the potatoes.
- Cover with foil.
- Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. During last 5 minutes of cooking, remove and sprinkle on cheese.
