Ingredients
- 1/2 c. cold water
- 3/4 c. very hot water
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. diced, cooked ham
- 1 c. grated process American cheese
- 1/4 c. diced celery
- 1/4 c. diced sweet pickle
Method
- Sprinkle 1 envelope Knox unflavored gelatine on cold water to soften.
- Add very hot water and stir until gelatine is thoroughly dissolved.
- Add vinegar and salt.
- Chill to unbeaten egg white consistency.
- Fold in diced, cooked ham, grated process American cheese, diced celery and diced sweet pickle.
- Turn into a 3-cup mold or individual molds.
- Chill until firm.
- Unmold on salad greens and serve with salad dressing.
- Makes 4 servings.
