Ingredients

  • 1 LB sea scallops
  • 1 T fresh thyme
  • 4 cloves of garlic, crushed
  • 3 T olive oil
  • cracked pepper to taste
  • a pinch of salt

Method

  • Line the scallops on kitchen towel to dry.
  • Mix and Marinate with all the ingredients and let scallops sit.
  • Brush them with olive oil over a hot grill or on a hot pan.
  • Slap the scallops on a hot sizzling pan for a minute or so on each side.

  • *Scallops should be fresh and not packed with water.
