Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 c. shredded coconut
  • 1/2 c. coarsely chopped almonds
  • 1/2 c. sesame seed
  • 1/2 c. sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 c. unsweetened wheat germ
  • 1/2 c. honey
  • 1/4 c. cooking oil

Method

  • Combine oats, coconut, almonds, sesame seed, sunflower seeds and wheat germ in a large bowl. Combine honey and oil. Stir into oat mixture. Spread in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
  • Bake at 300° for 45 minutes or until golden brown. Stir with spatula every 15 minutes. Cool and store in tightly covered container. Serve as a snack or a topping for fruit.
