- 6 lb. hen or 2 large fryers
- 1 or 2 stalks celery
- 1 onion
- 1 stick butter
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- garlic salt
- 2 c. milk, at room temperature
- 2 c. mushroom soup
- 1 small jar pimientos
- 1 small jar mushrooms
- 5 c. grated cheese (reserve 1 c. to go on top)
Method
- Saute onion in butter.
- When limp, add 5 tablespoons flour. Stir well and add the milk.
- When this will coat a spoon, add other ingredients, except cheese and chicken; mix well.
- Add cheese and chicken (add cheese first as it will melt better).
- Add this to spaghetti and top with reserved cheese.
- Cook at 350° until it bubbles.
