Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
- 1 1/2 c. raw peanuts
- 1 3/4 tsp. baking soda
Method
- Combine sugar, syrup and water, bring to a boil.
- When boiling nicely, add the raw peanuts.
- Cook until syrup begins to turn light brown and peanuts begin to pop.
- Add baking soda just before pouring up.
- Stir well, then pour into a large buttered pan.
- Let cool, then break into small pieces.
