Ingredients

  • 1 c. uncooked rice
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 can onion soup
  • 1 can water
  • 1 frying chicken
  • salt and pepper

Method

  • Place uncooked rice in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan. Pour mushroom soup, onion soup and water over rice. Mix slightly. Cut up chicken as for frying and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place chicken on top of rice mixture. Bake at 325° for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cover for the first 30 minutes of baking. When chicken has browned on one side, turn over and brown on other side.
