Ingredients
- 6 large potatoes
- 1/4 lb. bacon
- 1/3 c. fat
- 1 c. chopped onions
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/3 c. vinegar-wine
Method
- Fry bacon until crisp.
- Remove bacon, add onions to fat and brown slightly.
- Mix dry ingredients together and add to bacon fat, water and vinegar; boil for at least 1 minute or until thick.
