Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1/2 cup flour, all-purpose
  • 1/2 cup sugar granulated
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter melted, cooled
  • 6 ounces chocolate pieces
  • 1 cup walnuts chopped
  • 1 each pie shell (9 inch) unbaked

Method

  • In large bowl, beat eggs until foamy.
  • Gradually add flour and sugars, mixing until well blended.
  • Stir in butter.
  • Fold in chocolate pieces and walnuts.
  • Pour into unbaked pie shell; bake in 325F (160C).
  • oven for 50 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
  • Serve warm, with scoops of vanilla ice cream, if desired.
