Ingredients
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. cocoa
- 2 whole eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. evaporated milk
- 1 (9-inch) uncooked pastry shell
Method
- Melt butter in saucepan.
- Add sugar and cocoa; mix well.
- Add eggs, stirring well to mix.
- Do not beat.
- Add vanilla and milk; mix.
- Pour into pastry shell and bake at 400° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350° and continue cooking for 25 minutes or until filling is set.
