Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 c. flour, sifted
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 c. bourbon whiskey
  • 4 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 c. chopped dates
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. seedless raisins
  • 1 c. candied red cherries
  • 3 slices green pineapple, chopped

Method

  • Preheat oven to 300°.
  • In mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar together until light.
  • Stir in beaten eggs. Sift flour, soda and cinnamon together and stir into mixture.
  • Blend in bourbon, chopped pecans, dates, raisins, candied cherries and pineapple. Drop batter by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
  • Bake 25 minutes.
  • Makes 5 dozen.
