Ingredients
- 1 medium cabbage, chopped or grated
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. apple cider vinegar
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. mustard seed
- 1 carrot
- 1 green pepper
Method
- Sprinkle the salt over the cabbage and let set for 1 hour. Set aside.
- Mix the vinegar, sugar, celery seed, water and mustard seed.
- Bring to a
- boil. Set aside and allow to cool.
- Grate the carrot and chop the green pepper. Drain cabbage. Add other ingredients and toss. Refrigerate or freeze in portions to be used later.
