Ingredients
- 1 medium cabbage, chopped
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. vinegar
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. mustard seed
- 1 tsp. celery seed
Method
- Sprinkle salt on cabbage and let stand 1 hour.
- Squeeze out juice and add carrots and peppers.
- Boil vinegar, water, sugar, mustard seed and celery seed.
- Cool and pour over cabbage; freeze.
