Ingredients
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 3 c. hot water
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. margarine
- 6 eggs, slightly beaten
- 2 tsp. salt
- flour (to make a soft dough)
Method
- Soak
- yeast in 1 teaspoon sugar and 1/2 cup warm water. Beat together 3 cups hot water, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup margarine, eggs, salt
- and
- flour to make soft dough.
- When cool enough, add yeast. Stir in flour, beating as you continue.
- When firm enough, turn out on floured board and knead, adding flour to a soft
- dough. Let
- rise in warm place.
- Shape into rolls.
- Let rise.
- Bake at 350° about 20 minutes.
- (Use half recipe if you wish.)
