Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 c. warm water
  • 3 c. hot water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. margarine
  • 6 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • flour (to make a soft dough)

Method

  • Soak
  • yeast in 1 teaspoon sugar and 1/2 cup warm water. Beat together 3 cups hot water, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup margarine, eggs, salt
  • and
  • flour to make soft dough.
  • When cool enough, add yeast. Stir in flour, beating as you continue.
  • When firm enough, turn out on floured board and knead, adding flour to a soft
  • dough. Let
  • rise in warm place.
  • Shape into rolls.
  • Let rise.
  • Bake at 350° about 20 minutes.
  • (Use half recipe if you wish.)
