Ingredients
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 2 c. warm water
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 egg, beaten
- 4 c. self-rising flour
Method
- Dissolve yeast in warm water in large bowl.
- Add sugar.
- Stir in cooled, melted butter.
- Add beaten egg.
- Stir in 2 cups flour and beat well.
- Add remaining flour.
- Keep dough in airtight bowl in refrigerator.
