Ingredients

  • 18 eggs
  • 1 lb. pork sausage, browned and drained
  • 2 c. grated cheese
  • 1 can mushrooms (optional)
  • 1 c. whipping cream
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • chopped green pepper (optional)

Method

  • Spread butter in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Pat half of the cheese in the bottom of the pan.
  • Beat eggs, just a little, and pour on top of cheese.
  • Add a little salt and pepper.
  • Put drained mushrooms on top of eggs, then add cream.
  • Next layer on the sausage and the rest of the cheese.
  • Let sit overnight.
  • Next day, bake at 350° for 60 minutes or until set.
