Ingredients

  • 6 slices white bread (remove crusts)
  • 1 tsp. mustard
  • 1 1/4 c. milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 lb. sausage (bulk)
  • Swiss cheese
  • 3/4 c. half and half
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Method

  • Make the night before and refrigerate.
  • Grease a 9 x 13-inch Pyrex dish.
  • Line with bread. Brown sausage and drain grease.
  • Mix with mustard and put over bread.
  • Lay slices of cheese over sausage.
  • Mix milk, half and half, eggs, salt and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Pour over cheese layer.
  • Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.
