Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground beef or turkey
- 1 c. chopped onions
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 1/2 c. (28 oz. can) crushed tomatoes in puree
- 1 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 1/2 c. thinly sliced zucchini
- 4 oz. (1 1/2 c.) dry wide noodles, cooked and drained
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- In large skillet, brown beef with onion and garlic.
- Drain well.
- Mix in tomatoes, oregano, salt and pepper.
- Simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Mix in zucchini; cook for additional 10 minutes.
- Blend in noodles.
