Ingredients

  • 1 medium or 2 small potatoes per person
  • 1/2 medium onion per person
  • butter or vegetable oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1/4 c. water

Method

  • Slice potatoes like thick potato chips.
  • Slice onions and separate into rings or cut into large chunks.
  • Put in microwavable casserole; salt and pepper to taste.
  • Use just enough oil to coat vegetables or dot lightly with butter.
  • Add water to bowl and cook in microwave until potatoes are tender.
  • Cover dish while cooking. Potatoes will cook in 10 to 15 minutes.
