Ingredients

  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 box German chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar

Method

  • Grease 9 x 13 cake pan. Spread coconut and nuts in bottom. Mix one box of German chocolate cake mix according to directions. Spread across nuts and coconut. Cream together till soft: margarine, cream cheese and powdered sugar. Mix well. Drop by spoonfuls across the cake mix. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes. Cut and serve upside down. The bottom is the frosting.
