Ingredients
- 10 c. squash
- 4 c. onions, chopped
- 5 to 6 tsp. salt
- 1 large bell pepper, chopped
- 2 1/4 c. white vinegar
- 6 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. celery seed
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 tsp. turmeric
- 1 (7 oz.) jar chopped pimiento
Method
- Mix squash, onions and salt together and let stand all day or overnight.
- Drain well and add rest of ingredients.
- Bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Put in hot jars and seal.
