Ingredients
- 4 lg. Large eggs
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 5 tbsp. sugar
- 1 tbsp. pure vanilla extract
- Healthy pinch of salt
- 8 slices white bread
Method
- 1.
- Break Large eggs into a bowl, add in sugar, salt and vanilla.
- 2.
- Cream together with a French whip till well blended.
- Don't over beat.
- 3.
- Add in lowfat milk and blend thoroughly.
- 4.
- Dip each slice into the batter, coating each side thoroughly but, don't over soak or possibly it will break when handled.
- 5.
- Fry lightly in butter till golden on each side.
- Serves 4.
- Serve two slices per person.
- Serve with tub butter and sprinkle with confectionery sugar.
