- 1 c. water
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 4 boneless chicken breast halves
- 6 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 7 oz. spaghetti
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1/4 c. melted margarine
- 3 c. shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 c. dry white wine
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 4 oz. mushrooms, drained
- 2 oz. pimento
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 c. sliced almonds, toasted
Method
- Combine first 3 ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Cut chicken into 1-inch cubes; add to water.
- Cover and reduce heat.
- Simmer 10 minutes or until done; drain.
- Combine 6 cups water, 1/2 teaspoon salt and olive oil.
- Bring to a boil and add spaghetti; cook 10 minutes or until almost tender.
- Drain well and set aside.
