Ingredients
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 lb. margarine
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. dates, chopped
- pinch of salt
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 2 c. Rice Krispies
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 small pkg. coconut
Method
- Simmer first 5 ingredients for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Add Rice Krispies and nuts.
- When cool enough to handle, shape into balls and roll in coconut.
