Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1/4 whole Onion, Chopped
  • 1/4 cups Bread Crumbs
  • 2 whole Slices Swiss Cheese
  • 1/2 cups Ketchup, Divided

Method

  • Line crockpot with foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray or line with crock pot liners.
  • In a mixing bowl, mix all ingredients except cheese, using only 1/4 cup ketchup.
  • Combine well.
  • If needed, you can add another 1/4 cup bread crumbs to achieve your desired consistency.
  • Form meat into loaf and spread the remaining 1/4 cup ketchup on top.
  • Place in crockpot.
  • Cook on high for 45 hours or on low for 78 or until cooked through.
  • Place cheese slices on during the last 1/2 hour of cooking, to melt the cheese.
  • Remove meatloaf from crockpot.
  • Let rest for 58 minutes before slicing.
