Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 to 2 lb. lean beef cubes
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can golden mushroom soup
  • 3/4 lb. carrots (optional)
  • small green pepper (optional)
  • 1 lb. wide noodles or white rice

Method

  • Brown beef cubes in frying pan with onion and mushrooms until lightly brown.
  • Pour into crock-pot with juices from frypan.
  • Add soups (undiluted) and mix together (sliced carrots and peppers are optional).
  • Simmer on low approximately 6 hours.
  • Pour over noodles or rice.
  • Makes 4 to 6 servings.
